Mamaroneck Motel

It’s a really nice place to rest your head for a great price. Been a while since I’ve stayed here and the current staff is so much friendlier than they used to be. Sarah who was the day girl is no longer here, there is no more hostility and tense “I’m the manger issues, my way, don’t like it I’m throwing you out.” Miss Joey the night guy but again it’s just a great value compared to other hotels in the area.

If you are looking for ritzy or fancy not your place. But if you are looking for a clean, safe motel with hot water then this is perfect!! After reading some of the reviews was a little nervous but was pleasantly surprised. Rooms were very clean, and bed was comfy. Very convenient to West Chester Airport - 20 minutes!!

I would never stay here again. The floors were dirty, the door for the room felt like it had been busted in and repaired, there was almost no place to plug anything in that was convenient. When I first entered the room it was cold and I tried to turn the heater on and it wouldn’t work it was dead. So I fiddled around with the plug and I got it to work and the room warmed up, then when it was warm enough I turned it off, then when I went to go to bed I thought I should just make sure it was warm enough and again it was dead and I had to fiddle around with the plug again.||||I made the reservation through Expedia and was charged CDN $171. This is a no friils, basic motel. If you're trying to save money on your lodging while traveling to New York City & surrounding areas, this is a great place to stay to save money. The motel is close to various local amenities as well as the Metro North train station. Taking the train will bring you to Grand Central Station in heart of NYC - Manhattan, in 30 minutes. I found the room, bed, linens and the bathroom to all be clean. The room had a mini fridge, microwave, mini drip style coffee maker, TV and a small desk. The bathroom had clean towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner. Though it was a bit cramped. The stand-up shower was great with good water pressure and plentiful hot water. I was a little hesitant in booking this motel due to the mixed reviews. However, since I just needed a place for just one night, Apr. 26, 2025, decided to give it a shot. I'm happy I did. Though this is a no frills motel, I found the room to be cozy & clean. The bed and pillows were clean and comfortable and so was the linen. The bathroom was tight, with a smallish sink, but again, it was clean along with the towels. The shower was nice with great water pressure and plentiful hot water. The room had a microwave, mini fridge & coffee maker. Bottom line, if you are looking to save money and don't care about any frills, then I would suggest that you give this place a shot.
