We stayed at a glamping site tucked away on the island’s NorthShore in Laie. Waking up to the sounds of waves crashing and birds chirping was the highlight of each morning. The views were absolutely stunning, with the lush greenery of Oahu’s mountains surrounding us and the ocean just a short walk away. And the stars were breathtaking at night. The dome/tent was much more than we expected—spacious and fully equipped with everything we needed. It had comfortable beds, soft linens, and even a hammock outside where we took an nap and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. The tent felt like a cozy luxury hotel room, but with an unbeatable natural backdrop.
We had the absolute best stay here! We arrived at sunset to gorgeous light across the camping ground and were so pleasantly surprised by the campsite! The tent was spacious, clean (considering it’s on a farm!) and bug free. The double bed was super comfortable and it has lovely little touches like fake plants, drawers for your clothes and string lights for the evenings. We were so cosy at night! It rained a lot the second night but the tent was totally waterproof and its raised off the ground on a platform which is great. We also loved the view of the misty mountains behind rows of vibrant banana trees! So beautiful. The campsite is better than I expected too! It had WARM showers, restrooms, a microwave, cold and hot drinking water (you have to turn on the hot water at the back and wait f
Not recommended !!!! The campsite is VERY SMALL, barren, and crowded with farm storage containers. Also there’s no shade. Mosquitos were everywhere due to standing water nearby. full of aunts. The owners are hands-off, and quiet hours aren’t enforced. The grounds have deep tire ruts, making driving difficult and pitching a tent tricky. Cars drove close to tents late at night with headlights shining in, making it hard to sleep. Overall, disappointing and not worth it.
A beautiful and atmospheric place, the owners are very responsive and respond to every request. If you want to enjoy camping and sleep in comfortable beds, I recommend this place.
My stay at Maleka Farm was everything I hoped for and more! From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the stunning mountain views and the peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. If you're looking for a unique and beautiful place to stay on Oahu's North Shore, this is it. The tent glamping setup was fantastic. I loved waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoying my coffee with that incredible scenery. The hosts were so friendly and responsive, making sure all guests felt comfortable and had everything they needed. They've clearly put a lot of thought into creating a special experience. The location is also super convenient, with easy access to beautiful beaches like Hukilau Beach and nearby attractions like the Polynesian Cultural Center and Kahuku food trucks.
