Customer Reviews
Great place to camp if you do not need electricity or a shower. The night sky was absolutely stunning. We tent camped there, brought in our own firewood. The fire pit has a grate for cooking on, just bring some foil. Someone had two horses, didn't bother us at all. Bridal trail nearby was very narrow and rough for pedestrians. Everyone was super friendly, but we had a person enter the site at 10:30 pm at night, which was super rude. So don't be that type to bother other campers. Most sites were not level for a tent and were small, you are pretty well stacked up on top of each other. Well kept up and maintained. Someone did leave beer cans in the fire pit. They had an officer come check the area. Reservations are easy online and reasonably priced. Good primitive camping spots are hard to
Beautiful atmosphere. Kind employees. Quiet nights. Stayed 2 nights and my truck battery died both nights. They were helpful enough to come and give me a jump start. Thank you to everyone who makes this possible 💛
Didn’t camp here but hiked the Bride Trail. A really nice trail with elevation just wear long clothing in the warm months to help reduce ticks. Took the dogos with me and it can be a little slim at times. Happy Hiking!!!
Now reservations are need. Pay attention to the parking pad size and review photos when you book. A few of the lots are on a bit of a slant which can make leveling difficult if you are in an Rv. Some are tricker than others to back into as well. Clean, spacious sites, peaceful, and away from traffic and noise.
I hear they have Louis Bromfield's head frozen somewhere underneath the farm, and if you know the password, Poncho the Parrot will tell you exactly where to look.
