Blackwater Outfitters is an absolute gem. The whole camp is great. The guides go above and beyond in every way. The food is first class and so are the cabins. We filled our bear tags on the first day of our father/son bear hunt. I absolutely recommend Blackwater Outfitters for your next hunting trip.

This was our first bear hunt. The staff and owners were absolutely amazing. They work hard every day to make your adventure a great one. The food and cabins were awesome. I wish that I could give them more than 5 stars. I highly recommend them. Thanks for everything guys.

Great bunch of guys. Dickie, Cole and Josh all helped our daughter have a great hunt for a bear. This being her first attempt at one, we couldn't have asked for much more. These guys know what they're doing and you can tell they're passionate about it. I would recommend anyone to do business with them. Thank you all, A+++ service all the way around.

My first bear hunt, but want be my last! Dickey,Cole, Josh were amazing! These guys know Maine Black bear, they were busy every day putting out bait, setting up future spots for hunters! Dickey has been in business for 30 years, his knowledge and experience is what makes Black water hunters so successful! I learned more about bears in 6 days that I had in 50 years. From their ability to see movement to their nose which is 7 times better than bloodhound. The food was amazing I gained 5 lbs, nice clean cabins with TV and Internet. Mike is awesome butcher my taxidermist was happy, meat was quartered and ready to cut up or bag and carry home in cooler! Maybe I'll get moose tag in 25. Anyway if you want great experience call Blackwater outfitters you want be disappointed!
