Magnuson Hotel Country Inn

We booked on booking dot com The front desk persons was always friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff were amazing. Room was very clean and comfortable. The location was great . The refrigerator does not get real cold. The pool was warm ( we stayed in December) . The grandkids love it. We stayed 8 days 9 nights. The only bad thing is the Continental breakfast . It was not a Continental breakfast! They had hand wrapped slices of bread mini muffins ( sometimes) Pop tarts , cereal, yogurt, milk, OJ, . When they say continental breakfast I think Eggs, bacon, waffles( you make yourself) sausage English muffins fresh fruit etc. Staff was great !!!

On the plus side, the room was spacious, the bed was comfortable enough and the shower very good in terms of water flow and temperature. The shower was safe and accessible with a bar and slip free.||On the negative side, even though check in was stated as 3:00 pm, when we arrived at 3:30 pm, we were told not only was our room not ready, they did not know when it would be and that we would be called. We were not called and the room was not ready until 6:00 pm.||While the am staff person was quite nice, the evening person was abrasive and belligerent. In general, if you have a problem, staff are unable to help.||We hope the problems are corrected as the price is more manageable for our budget than other accommodations and we will likely need to return to the area as we have a student at N

Comfortable beds. Clean. Good wifi. A few breakfast items that were sufficient for a snack. I never received an email confirmation after making rez 1 week in advance.Tried calling hotel 3x over 4 hours, no answer. Don't expect concierge service! Nothing fancy, but I'd stay here again.

The service we receive when we call to reserve and while there is always great! The rooms are okay for us. We come up to snowmobile all day. It's too bad the hot tub is gone, I am not a fan of saunas but others may be. Thanks for the service.
