This is a perfect gem! The room was spacious and absolutely clean; all the furniture and fixings are sparkling new, including the flooring throughout, and sinks and shower enclosure. The sitting room was comfy with a couch and wing chairs, and we enjoyed using the sink and microwave. The owners were attentive, kind, and polite. Sadly the town doesn’t have much to offer (many shops haven’t recovered from the years of closure due to covid) but as a place to stop while in transit across Nevada, this small historic hotel is just perfect!

The room was clean and roomy. The owners were very helpful and friendly. If you go you should make sure Grandma's Restaurant is open next door. It is closed on Wednesday. Nothing else was open except the mini mart with very little to choose from. We fortunately had some snack items we purchased in Fallon and was able to have enough for dinner and breakfast. Bring your own coffee maker and plates, silverware since there was nothing in the room to use for heating in the microwave. Owners did bring down some paper plates and plastic silverware which was very accommodating.

Great service. Last minute while passing through. Best bed and sleep in over two weeks on the road. Charming and clean and exactly the refresh I needed. Thanks to the owners!

If I could give 10+ Stars ⭐⭐⭐ ✨ I definitely would!! Lauren and husband were beyond amazing 😍 they made sure I felt safe and it's hard not to when you're given keys to the castle. She was super friendly, kind and truly beautiful! The room was better than any hotel and don't even waste your time with dirty motels. THIS is THE PLACE to stay if you're in the Austin, NV area. The only downside about the location is it's super remote not close to civilization, so don't have car issues it will take hours for someone to assist. Yet, even in that these beautiful folks went above and beyond to try and assist me and keep me comforted and comfortable. The pictures are true to reality of the room, everything was super cleaned and they provided complimentary water and tea 🍵😍

Couldn’t speak high enough about our experience. It feels like history comes alive again and there’s a lot about this building! Great and very friendly hosts, really can’t recommend more, we are definitely staying here again next time we are in the area
