Magnolia Dreams Inn

Absolutely love this place! Jessica was the most kind hearted & welcoming host ever!! She took the time to show us around and explain a little bit of the history of the beautiful inn! The entire place is breathtaking and so cozy! We ended our stay with getting to meet her sweet dog! We will absolutely be coming back to stay again! This place is so dreamy!

What a wonderful, quaint historic house turned hotel!!! Nestled at the end of the street next to the train tracks between some big beautiful trees... the squirrels and the birds are a delight to listen to in the mornings while having coffee on the upstairs porch. It is an OLDER house with some quirks, like silly doorknobs and thinner walls. But it is wonderful! We stayed 2 nights and only heard the train once, so its not a nuisance. The owner, Jess, and her dog, Daphne, were great hosts. She said the house was built in the early 1900s, and she has done all the work to convert it into a boarding house style hotel. Definitely a good find! Thank you for the amazing stay!

The good: there is AC. The bad: the smells about knock you over upon entering the house. The odor of dog is very pundit and makes you wanna vacate immediately. The ugly: The location, the neighborhood was awful, Seemed very unsafe, somewhere I would never had stopped if I hadn’t already paid for the room. immediately upon entering, we started calling every other hotel, inn, and bed-and-breakfast in the vicinity. Yes, we were gonna leave and go somewhere else without getting a refund if we found something. The price she is charging for what you get is outrageous. Very disappointed.

What an amazing place to stay. Jessica is a great host who does a great job making you feel welcome. The house is stunning and relaxing. My room was quiet and cool and the bed was very comfortable! She’s done a great job keeping the original feel but with the modern comforts. I spent a week here and will continue to come back. Highly recommended

Renovated old home with lots of southern charm! I found this on Travelocity and so glad I did. Easy to find and located just under an hour from Wilmington. I definitely recommend this place.
