Madison Resort Royal Tower

This was an amazing stay! Rooms were nicely updated and had great views of the pool and beach (poolside side rooms!) Room was cool, clean and well appointed and the beds were very comfortable. Only thing that would have been helpful were more outlets but we survived. Kitchen area was well stocked with the necessities if you wanted to cook. The bathroom itself was clean but the shower seemed dated and worn but everything functioned perfectly. Beach service to get chairs and an umbrella was easy and the beach was very clean. This has been our best NJ shore visit yet! We already booked for next year!

This is a luxury motel for Wildwood Crest and the 5 mile island. For an existing motel the rehab was decent, but still limited due to the fact of the 4 seasons and the lack of restaurants, nightlife , and other activities to draw people in during the off season. For what they are up against they have maximized the capabilities and amenities pretty good for what the barriers are. The location is one of the best streets in Wildwood Crest in the Summer, but during off season it becomes very quiet. Overall the hotel is a great addition for the island and Wildwood Crest.

I have been reading the reviews for this hotel for several months and was worried about our vacation. We had a great time! We have stayed at the same hotel in NWW for close to 18 years. It was time for a change. I have rode by this hotel many times and it always looked nice. Check in was quick and friendly. I had no issues at all. I found the staff to be very accommodating and helpful. Compared with other hotels in Wildwood, this is very nice. I am not sure what people expect from a shore motel / hotel but this was fine. Everyone place in Wildwood, seems to be dated that is kind of the charm. The pool was clean. Didn't go in the hot tub, not sure why infants with diapers were in there but, not worth complaining. A big WOW. Madison inn royal tower. This place outshines all places in the Crest. I'm 62, and I have been coming to the Crest since I was 3. I absolutely love the room. Very clean. The pool is awesome. The staff go above and beyond to make sure you have a pleasant experience. I'm here for 2 weeks.

I dont want to bash the place, because objectively it was a good stay. But there was a few things that really put a bad taste in my mouth: 1 - My reservation said ocean front room, but when i got there was put in the bottom floor with absolutely no view of the ocean, when i asked they said it faces the ocean but the pool and dunes blocked the view. 2- The room was to be honest.... janky. - I had one tile of my backsplash missing, and black mold on the wall behind it. - The shower head has so much lime build up, about 1/4 of the jets were not working due to being clogged. - The shower pan was pitched in the wrong direction so the water would pool on the opposite side of the drain. ( again this doesn't really matter, just goes to show the quality they put into the place) - There was a bunc
