Madison Inn Lodge

There was so much potential for this to be a nice little stay…. But our experience was horrible! If you’re looking for a charming small-town motel with clean rooms and friendly service… keep driving. I rarely leave reviews, and this is the first time I’ve ever rated below 5 stars, but I feel obligated to warn other travelers. The floors were visibly dirty, the beds uncomfortable, and the “continental breakfast” was more of a continental disappointment. Customer service? Practically nonexistent. The only positive was that I didn’t see a *live* roach, which says a lot about the bar here. This was the kind of place that makes you debate whether the sheets are actually clean or if you’re better off sleeping fully clothed on top of the covers. While visiting our family here in town and catching some sights, we booked a room here. The room was nice and had a microwave and other amenities. Small bathroom, but functional, the only issues we had is they saw breakfast included but it's only on weekends we stayed through memorial monday. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay here.

I stayed at this lodge on Oct 24, 2025. No hangers in the closet and the clerk or owner said customers stole them and I suggested he use hangers with a loop that would fir on the clothes bar and he said they would steal that too. No radio with alarm, called for wake up call after 10 pm but they never answered. bed cover had big rips at he end of the cover, floor dirty and breakfast was a joke. Worse place I ever stayed.

The outside of the motel looks well kept. The beds are really hard. The shower curtain needs to be washed and the walls need to be painted. They gave us 2 towels for 4 people.

Nice place , beds are soft , clean rooms , make sure stay inside after dark because of mosquitoes, no breakfast but they do give ya some powder donuts and hunny bunns, for the price ya ain't going beat it , front desk person real nice. It's just out of town .
