M53 Motel Imlay City

We stayed here for about a month, while my husband was building a tank in the area. Tom and LeAnn were such nice people. If there was any kind of issue, they were always right on it. The price to stay weekly was very, very reasonable. If we ever have to be in the area for another job, we will definitely stay again! Thanks for the experience guys

My Husband and I stayed there over the weekend and I'll tell you what! We called first,The manager told us he had available rooms. When we got there he |told me all he had was 1 room open, but...it had holes in the wall . Weeell... When we got in our room there were 2 big holes in the walls a VERY broken down recliner to sit on, which couldn't be set on, and only one shower towel, wash cloth and hand towel.the bed was rock hard and couldn't be slept on. I wouldn't recommend them to my most hated enemies

The hotel was OK, but decent for the price. Owner was very accommodating, especially for a 1:30am check in time. Asked for a non-smoking room but had to change to another room because smell remained. Took a shower and it hadn't drained by the time I left. Provided toiletries but from 3 different nearby hotels. I'd stay here again if I needed to. Fridge was nice. Rooms 70's style?

The first time myself and guest stayed it was okay. This recent stay was not good. No hot water the evening we stayed and in the morning no hot water. We asked for a full refund . We were given a partial refund. We were told owner coming to fix problem in the afternoon. The man telling this said he was the manager. He was the owner of this motel. Just be honest. The motel rooms need to be updated really bad. Their Rooms do not smell good.

I booked this property on Hotwire and was amazed they would even represent such terrible motel. I will start out by saying that I am in the logistics business and spend 1-3 nights a week in motels. Have had wonderful experiences in other Imlay City Motels like the Super 8 I thought I would give Hotwire a shot. That when this horrible experience started. When I was on the booking page of Hotwire is showed logos for Super 8 and Days Inn etc. so I felt comfortable with my decision. When I booked and it came back as M53 I was quite surprised. Being the Canadian Family day weekend and US Presidents day I felt I would have no other choice than to go there. First of all getting in the office to book was a problem, the door was locked and was not opened until I was "buzzed In". The office was so
