Lyfe Resort & Residences

There were mixed reviews according to Airbnb and google on this resort so we went into this stay with an open mind and no expectations. This resort was beyond what we could’ve asked for!! Absolutely stunning views, the staff was very accommodating and very friendly. Spa, bar, restaurant, nice gym, arcade, gift shop, coffee shop. This place is very well kept and had security monitoring the place so you felt safe. The room was spotless. The pools and hot tub were well maintained. We had trouble finding the designated trash area, but it’s right around the corner from the elevator behind a door. The elevator wait time wasn’t an issue like people were saying. You make your own experience and some people like to complain about every little thing. So just go into this with a patient and positive

Nadine, Junior and most of the hotel staff were FANTASTIC. This place had everything I needed for a stress reliever. The location on the beach, 2 bedrooms with 2 full baths, roof top jacuzzi, game room, bar and restaurant was above my expectations. We had amazing views of the city, beach and sun sets. It didn’t feel like we were in the USA. I thought I was in the Caribbean. If you do not have a passport, this is your spot!!!|I wish the jacuzzi stayed open longer. The views from the roof top are Amazing at night. I needed the water therapy as I am recovering from a car accident.

We stayed at LYFE for a week. Our apartment was nice and had everything we needed, and the view from the balcony was beautiful. However, the first thing we experienced was a parking problem. On the very first day we were told that our car could not be parked because it has advertising on it and their policy does not allow that. We were advised to find public parking somewhere nearby. This was not how we expected to start our vacation. It took a lot of time to figure things out, and no one could clearly explain the situation. The nearby public parking only works until 7 PM, and other options are far from the hotel. As a result, my husband spent the first day of our vacation driving around and asking other hotels if he could park there, even though we had already paid a significant amount

Our condo was beautifully clean with a great view of the ocean, however the outside furniture was in a state of disrepair and needed replacing and there was little to zero service from the v.b.r.o service line when we called. The 'sound proofing' also was n't great so we could hear 'activities' from other units. Also very little bathroom lighting and only 1 mirror which was in the bathroom. Washer/ dryer worked well.The security guys were personable,and our check in guy Roberto was great. The restaurant at the resort is pretty decent, and the staff there were personable. The pool was clean and well maintained. The beach had easy acceses , but sadly service on the beach was non exsistent.The chairs on the beach are squashed together so closley, within a small area, that your view of the o

The rooms are fine, but not nearly as nice as pictured. The elevators can take over half an hour to wait for and there is a huge line. The hot water runs out by about 7pm. Also, when you check out, you aren’t allowed to access the resort anymore which I have never seen in my life and now we are scrambling on our last day to figure out where to go since our plan was to store our luggage and hang out here for the day until our flight (like you can do at every other resort or hotel I have ever stayed at). Do not waste your money here. There are wayyy better places for way better prices that are in areas you can actually walk around.
