Our stay at Lundy Creek was truly unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how beautiful, peaceful, and well-kept everything was. The scenery surrounding the property is absolutely stunning—it felt like a private getaway tucked into nature with the perfect mix of comfort and luxury. The home itself was immaculate. Every room was thoughtfully prepared, and nearly every bedroom had its own private bathroom—which made things incredibly convenient for our large family. We booked Lundy Creek Lodge for a long anticipated, family reunion, expecting a peaceful and enjoyable retreat. Unfortunately, what we got was anything but relaxing. The lodge was unclean, outdated, and clearly neglected. The most alarm issue were the bedbugs— found in my room and in multiple rooms. Several family members were bitten, and some even had to cut their stay short due to the discomfort and concern over bringing the pests home. I brought this to the tension of the staff, particularly the owner, Trish, but her response was dismissive and unhelpful. We had our family reunion there July 4 -6, 2025 and the condition of the property was below GA health code. The facility and decor is dated and unclean. TVs and audiovisual equipment needs upgrading to today’s standard. Because of incompatibility, our family was unable to present pertinent information to our group. Several of our family members reported bedbug bites and one family member had to replace a dirty shower curtain. While it was great spending time with family, the condition of the facility sometimes overshadowed the experience. I wouldn’t recommend staying at this facility until improvements and renovations are made. It’s unfortunate because our family has patronized this facility since 2018 with our gatherings.

Highly recommend that you look into Lundy Creek Lodge for your group’s next getaway. It is the perfect setting for a family reunion, wedding venue, or just a quiet weekend away from the busier city life. At only around 1.5 hrs outside of Atlanta, Lundy Creek Lodge was easy to find. The main lodge has plenty of bedrooms and what seemed to be an industrial sized kitchen. There is plenty of space inside and out. Each bedroom looked to have their own private bathroom as well, which was very convenient. Again, I highly recommend. Great times were had all around!

First of all this place is incredible. It is breathtaking and on top of that very accommodating. I had recently just had my wedding here back in October And it was absolutely beautiful. The lodge was able to hold all of my out-of-town family as well as my husband’s. That’s something you cannot beat being able to have yourself and your family stay at the venue of your wedding. I 10 out of 10 recommend Lundy Creek Lodge!!
