Lugdon Lodge

My friend who is close to 70 and had a stroke few years back and has limited him in mobility some. He was lucky enough to draw a cow moose permit zone 3 after YEARS of trying in 2019 Right after the drawing, Ed Lugdon of Lugdon Lodge contacted him and explained his lodging and guide service. We were immediately taken with how sincere and friendly Ed was. He assured us that every accommodation could be made for my friend limited mobility and assured us a quality hunt. We looked no further and glad we went with Lugdon Lodge! People and food OUTSTANDING! They made such an effort to make us comfortable! Bottom line, we got our cow moose 681lbs, but we made lifelong friends! Ed & Marion, thank you so much! We will be booking a bear trip in the near future! Bless you both!

What an amazing trip! I wouldn't have changed a thing! The people who own and work at this lodge are among the best people I've been around. From the food, to the hunt and everything in-between if you are going to hunt in northern Maine you want to go to lugdon lodge. Friendly, helpful staff. When I took my moose they had 800+ foot of rope and a helping hand to lend. (without that we would have needed a helicopter) All you can eat food including the packed lunch they give you, just tell them how many sandwiches, homemade cookies, chips, ect and they have it ready for 4:00am to take with you on your hunt for the day.
