Ludlow Motel

Very dirty rooms. I don't think the towels have been clean for a while. There was dirt all around the bathroom sink. It was really quite disgusting. I would drive on and pass this place.

It basically in middle of nowhere so that in itself why I gave a 5 star on location! Over all I'd say 3 or 4 . Price was decent and so was the room plus spacious . Although the bath ya could plainly see where a bar of soap use to be that had NOT BEEN CLEANED. Plus was hot when we got into room. Other then that no complaints. Bed was ok we slept decent. It was quite. Would stay there again.

We were caught in the I 15 shutdown. After 10 hours on the road trying to get to Laughlin we decided to stay here overnight and leave at 4am to beat the traffic (we didn’t, we ended up being on the road another 9 hours the next day). Like others have mentioned, it is basic but clean and meets a need. Check in at the gas station across the street, where you can also get free fountain drinks and ice for the stay! Not bad at all!!

I stayed there a while back but had forgotten to leave a review. This place doesn’t claim to be anything other than what it is and it’s perfectly fine for what it is. Is it glamorous? No. It’s a motel in the middle of the desert near the railroad tracks And there’s nothing else around within a 50 mile radius, which would be Barstow. I was actually quite grateful they were there because I was tired and it was late and I just wanted a place to crash. The room was older but it was relatively clean and the air-conditioning worked. It’s not the place you go if you’re worried about all the amenities. They are literally in the middle of nowhere. I don’t know what some people would expect. The process is a little bit different. Once we checked-in, and found out there was no wi-fi, I went to my room to settle in only to find out the TV didn't work. I asked to switch rooms when they told me there were no other (clean) rooms available. I threatened to change motels if they couldn't fix the TV. Well, they couldn't fix the TV but then decided to offer me another room. As I was switching rooms the employee told me that it was hard to keep working TVs in the rooms as they kept getting stolen by customers. TMI. I went to the other room and discovered the TV did work, however, it only had 4 working channels; TCM, BYU (Brigham Young University), Freeform and Fox News (?). Here are some of our room pictures.
