Customer Reviews
We have been coming to Loyston Point for years. I don’t really want to tell everyone because you may try to take our favorite camping spot! The lake front spots are our favorite and we love that the kids can carry their kayaks into the water on their own. You can rent boats from a local dock 10ish minutes away driving if you don’t have one, or you can put your boat in not far and keep it near your site in the water. The bathrooms are relatively clean and hook ups and water are fine. The only complaint we have is that there are tons of ants everywhere. If you drop food, they will find it. Last year they tried to climb up our jacks and get into our camper so we always try to remember to bring any spray. There is a ton of goose poop around the sites by the water but we just use bags w
Great campground next to a lake. Fees are fair (no senior or other discounts). Sites have electricity but most do not have water. The lakefront sites are great. I stayed in #32 and #19. Swimming beach but lots of swimming access all around. They rent boats and kayaks. Stayed an extra day because it was so nice. Developed by the TVA.
Terrific campground. Super friendly and helpful staff. Very clean. Plenty of activities. Child and dog friendly. Love this place.
Super clean area. Nice lady at the office was very helpful. Didn't realize there was a $10 day fee but it was worth it. The beach area was smallish but perfect for my kiddos. Picnic tables close to the water. Will definitely be back!
Beautiful campgrounds with very nice people to take care of you! Second visit just as nice. Water level down this trip.
