Lowell State Recreation Site

Beautiful place for a walk, a picnic plan and other activities for everyone.

Went to the Columbia Drag Boat races today, last one if the season and it was awesome. There's great swimming areas, picnic tables, charcoal BBQ's you can use when it's not fire season and great fishing spots here too.

I love coming here. I have always loved Dexter Lake. It is a little sad that it has changed a bit, but still much the same. Always a great place on a hot day!

It's a fairly small park. I went in April and everything was very wet and raining. The facilities are clean but there aren't a lot of amenities there. They have a small play structure, a small basketball court, and a large covered picnic area. The shore line is ok. You can walk out on the docks and admire the view but not much else without a boat at the time I went.

I'm the camp host there my husband and I are. We were last year this year and next year we sure hope to see you out there! I think that we've cheered the place up quite a bit. It's just a lot of fun up there come on up and have fun good time!
