Lost Pines Lodge

I think this place would've been great to go to. However, we pulled up to the Lost Pines Lodge at about 11:15 and were greeted by a lady outside telling us that they didn't open until 12. This seems like an awful business decision. There are many people that enjoy a early lunch or maybe a stop to get warm and have a couple of drinks while snowmobiling. The worker seemed rather rude as well.

I booked this Lodge, sight unseen, in order to find accommodation's for my adult|son and I that was close to a weekend event in which we were participating. There is a annual trail run in the area that draws participants from all around the county. I literally pulled up Google maps and took a chance on a place to stay. The Lost Pines Lodge is FANTASTIC. The best way I can describe Lost Pines Lodge is to say that it is like a throwback to a Lodge of yester year in all the BEST possible ways. Family owned and operated, very CLEAN and comfortable, and extremely friendly and inviting. The lodge has a tavern/restaurant attached. The food (pizza, burgers, wings, salads, etc) is excellent. Amazing service! 5 of us walked in after the kitchen was closed. We told them we had heard so much about their burgers we wanted to try them. A few minutes later the owner came out a said they would make them for us! Super chill place! Felt like we knew everyone instantly! Definitely must go try their burgers! Delicious!

Had an interesting trip out on the #snowmobile #trails today. K&R Outfitters, LLC Guided Snowmobile Tours took a group of 16 adults out this morning. We made our way from Cadillac over the Lost Pines Lodge for our normal warm up stop. Lost Pines has been the go to stop for mid morning breakfast, warm beverages, warm and clean bathrooms breaks for the ladies since we started our business 9 seasons ago. It was always that perfect spot in the middle of the forest, quaint and the previous owner was always friendly. Ownership has changed and so did the commitment to hospitality, customer service or loyalty to long term customers that bring their clients to their place of business and spend money. Their web site says open at 11. It was 1115 and the young woman shoveling snow off the patio

We stayed here this past week for one night. I didn't realize it was overtop a bar and was a little concerned about noise. However once we got into the room I noticed first that there was zero smell to the room. Honestly it was great- it didn't smell like a hotel room, nor did it smell overly of cleaning chemicals. Secondly I notice that the bar noise was nearly non-existent and not enough to disturb sleep. I had initially booked through hotels. com and accidentally did it for the wrong day. Of course I had to go through them to try to adjust it, and of course they were impossible (they tried calling Lost Pines one time and when they had to leave a voicemail, they sent me an email saying that after "several" attempts to contact the property, they were not able to get confirmation of a date
