Lost Creek Boat Ramp

If the ramp was used just for boaters I would rate it higher. Went to pull our boat back out and 10 or more kids were swimming right on the ramp and all around the dock. They made little effort to leave making it rather stressful to safely take our boat out. I was cordial about it and eventually got my boat out after having to ask them to move. The next person wanting to get their boat had similar results and eventually had a major argument with the parents of the kids swimming. I was on the hill and out of the water finishing with the boat while the parents came over to the other boaters and continued to lash out at them saying well in excess of 100 f words. This is not okay when I was with my family and 4 year old daughter. There had to be a 2 or 3 year old that was had very littl

PROS: The area is clean and it has restrooms (that are usually fairly clean) which I like having access to before going out on the boat... or if you need to come back to the restrooms while out on the lake they are only a short walk from the ramp.. that area around the ramp is a great area to fish as well.. CONS: The parking area for trucks and trailers isn't big at all (maybe 10 to 12 sections) and the entire parking area is on a fairly steep grade too. Which could be a little difficult for anyone who is elderly, handicap or pregnant..ETC...The ramp is small but 2 boats can fit if both know how to back a trailer. There are some holes that need to be filled in that would help to ramp have a little more room because you have to avoid them when loading/ unloading

So glad about the picnic table a gentleman put there but people need to be respectful of people's feet and quit breaking bottles there. Glass everywhere making it dangerous for everyone's feet, especially my children ages 4 and under who aren't great at avoiding it. There are trash cans with bags in them, use them.

I love fishing at lost creek, at tims period. Have ever since I was 12yr old, now I'm 49. But lastnight was the first time I was ever told that I couldn't fish at the dock at night by park ranger. I have seen the cops, and especially game warden come patrol the area not once was nothing ever said. I fish at the casway alot, even bring a trash bag just to pick up someone else's trash,just hate to see it like normandy.

I have swam, fished, and launched boats here, it's there for us, we should be safe, and keep it clean there.
