Lookout Mountain / Chattanooga West KOA Holiday

More beautiful & tucked away than I expected for a KOA! This is a gem and very conveniently close to Lookout Mountain attractions such as Rock City Gardens (highly recommend). The shower house is extremely comfortable and clean. Seems very new! The room I happened to choose had a weird layout with the sink and mirror but after looking into the other empty ones I think it’s the only one like that (pictured). Awesome kids play areas (my 5 and 8 year old especially loved the bounce bubble!) and even outdoor bowling! My daughter was thrilled to find a few green anoles among the natural landscape nearby. My only critique is that even though they don’t have pre-assigned spots the said they couldn’t put us and our friends on adjacent spots… even though no one was on the spot next to us. Haha

Everything about this place is 5 star. We stayed there at the end of October and it was fantastic. They had events planned around Halloween including a costume contest, egg toss, tug a war. Tricker Treating and they turned their nature trail into a haunted hike including live Zombies to scare you. The bathrooms were hands down the best I have seen at any campground. Private, toilet, and shower in a private room. They were also very very clean. The managers were all friendly and very helpful. I got locked out of my RV and the night time Manager came over with a handful of keys and we found one that worked. We are definitely coming back next year. We highly recommend this KOA to anyone looking for a first class camping experience.

This was our first time visiting here and it was wonderful. I'm not sure where to begin. This was my wife's birthday weekend and we wanted to get away but under 200 miles from home. Lookout Mountain KOA was the perfect place after searching. The check in was a breeze and the staff was professional and knowledgeable. Once we checked in and parked, a staff member offered to help us get set up. The campground itself was clean and presented a lovely fall view in the mountains. We enjoyed the peace and friendly atmosphere. Thanks for making this a great getaway for us. I highly recommend this KOA.

Sites are slightly small and Verizon doesnt connect. BUT if you're trying to recharge and disconnect for a bit its the perfect spot. 10 mins from Chattanooga makes it easy to find cool stuff to do. One thing I forgot to note... the bathrooms! largest, cleanest, very nice better than my own house! and the pool was lovely too!

This campground is exceptional! You continuously see staff out working around the campground to keep it nice for the visitors. They have a wonderful playground for the kiddos and a very nice canine area for the dogs. You will see a touch of humor when you read the KOA signs and see the little twist of words. The bathrooms are very clean and each has a handicap seat. The showers have a full size locking door. Some rooms have a sink and toilet only, while others have the sink, toilet and shower combo. Quiet and laidback you will thoroughly enjoy your time here. Chattanooga is still close enough for dinner, shopping and sightseeing.
