Lone Point Recreation Area

We are traveling through and just staying one night. We stayed in Site 46 and what a view of the lake! It's a little off the highway and the back roads weren't exactly smooth. We arrived a little after 4:00 and there wasn't anyone at the check-in station, so we proceeded to our site. After we got set up we went back to check-in, but still no one was there. We made our reservation online so I figured they'd come around to check on us eventually. The bathroom/shower house was very nice and clean. We would definitely stay again.

Quiet, clean, friendly! Several lake view sites. Several pull thru sites as well as some full hook up sites.

Had lots 2 and 3. Was a far walk to bathroom but a beautiful location across from Barkley lake. Roads are very narrow one way... You have to be very careful if your coming with a big rv. Awesome location will be back

Very nice views, one thing to be wary of when booking is the size of the camp grounds you pick can be very misleading. Aside from that we had a great time.

Nice quiet place. Playground nice and clean bathrooms clean. But there was no soap to wash your hands with 😆 all in all everything was great everyone super nice boat launch right there. we went kayaking the lake was right behind our campsite so it was perfect and nice little trail from our campsite to the waterfront. On the way there firewood is $5 a bundle which is sweet. And there's a convenience store 6 minutes away. Not that you should have forgot anyting 😆🐱🍕🍻🍗🦞⛺🏠🚲🙈🙉🙊 all things being said have fun at Shelbyville lake.
