Lone Mountain Riverfront Campground

We had a blast at Loon Mountain Campground, the office provided us a ATV map and we were able to have a full day of riding. The bathrooms were clean and I love all the green space. Beautiful views too!! Oh it was fall so the colors of the trees were an added attraction.

Lone Mountain has become one of our favorite places to camp! They have great sites, fun family activities and amazing views. Toby and Makayla make you feel like part of the family! Can’t wait for next season!

Excellent customer service. Campground was in excellent shape and bathrooms and showers were clean and in great condition. Beautiful Mountain views and near several waterfalls and hiking trails.

Love this campground! We had a riverfront tent site (site 34)--very spacious and flat site. Bathrooms are clean and well appointed. They feel elevated above a typical camp ground experience. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

This is an ATV CG as advertised and not a restful CG. We had really high hopes of enjoying this CG due to it being off season and generally less busy. We were not greeted in a friendly fashion when we checked in. It was quiet and peaceful until 10pm on our first night’s stay. Our next door neighbors pulled in around 10 p.m. (after stated arrival hours of 7:30 p.m.) and proceeded to set up camp from 10 p.m. to approximately 1 a.m. Lights were in full use (also a violation of stated policies), full noise from camp set up activities, laughing/talking (all violations of stated policies.) Then our neighbors made a fire in the fire pit and talked until well into the night. We did not get good rest and were awakened early the next morning well prior to 8 a.m. (quiet hours go until 8 a.m.) by our
