LOGE Leavenworth Riverside Cabins

The location was beautiful. The staff was very helpful and responsive. The cabin was warm and cozy with good water pressure. The reasons for only three stars are: for the price the bed was very uncomfortable, the toilet paper roll holder was broken, the front porch light was out, and the lights and tv were a little hard to figure out. I honestly think, if the mattress was of better quality, the other small things would have be over looked.

I made a reservation in December, I called and cancelled due to flooding days before the travel date. My american express was charged and when I called the lady st the Loge when I noticed my card was changed said she would check with her manager. No response back. I calked again only to get a reservation company. American Express called and emailed, no response. The stress that this has created is awfu & time consuming.

For the price, we were extremely disappointed with this stay. The rooms were pretty awful, no knob on the heater, boxspring is just a plank of plywood, the bare bones living space has only two uncomfortable chairs, the cables for the tv looked like a rats nest, the bathroom is cold, shower curtain is like 2 feet off the ground and water gets everywhere. Not to mention, when we first walked in the smell of cologne was unbearable. Additionally, their app didn’t seem to provide the correct information for the cabins and I had to turn on data to get information. I typically don’t leave bad reviews, but after submitting a survey at the end of January and not having someone reach out to try to make things right, figured I should warn the rest who are thinking of staying here.

We booked this stay through Expedia, not the hotel directly — however, the company is still responsible for ensuring their listings are accurate. Unfortunately, our experience was SO DISAPPOINTING! Over $400!! this was one of the most expensive and least comfortable stays we’ve ever had. This was our big splurge out Christmas get away... The location was remote, the amenities were bare minimum, and the lack of communication or guest support was incredibly disappointing. The other cabins were completely empty of other guests, which honestly makes sense after staying here. We believed we were booking a room in downtown Leavenworth, close to the main street so we could easily check in on our pets. This is our favorite place to stay in Leavenworth, hands down! The cabins are really great - just the right mix of rustic and modern comfort. The location along the river is incredible - and it's an easy walk into downtown Leavenworth. Even though it's close to town, it really does feel like it's out in the woods - it was so much fun for the kids. The staff has always been incredible, the few times we've needed anything they've always been really helpful - but I'm writing this review now because the Loge team really went above-and-beyond for us this year. My daughter has a range of medical problems, including difficulty breathing, and with the the nearby fires and extra smoke this year, the Loge team went out of their way to help us cancel/re-schedule our trip.
