Lodge House Inn The

Back in oct of 2020 My car had broke down on my way home a few miles away from this place, it was my friend, my two kids and me stuck over 500+ miles from where I live, had no money till the following day but this place was nice enough to let us stay without any money up front and trusted us to pay them later. I appreciate the people who work here. Thank you

Filthy, scary, no bugs , no phone service, no wifi, no TV. No blankets, only dirty bed spread and a flat sheet. Only hotel in town, if you can, go to kettleman city . On a bright note, if your car breaks down, Tom's automotive will fix you right up.

This place should be shut down.I am calling the City of Avenal and the county health dept. This motel should be leveled. Nice kid running office,tho.Sheets Fithy, bathtub had Old body tissue in it.Toliet did not flush without taking off lid. TV no remote,could barely see...4 channels.Roaches in ktchen area.Old man,walked in room in morning,no knock..would not leave until I was screaming. No light bulbs.Carpet Fithy,disgusting.Did not want to refund $5 for key deposit. Guys next door couldn't get in their room.Kid opened it.Filthy,nasty dirty. Should be shut down.$50 for a room,don't do it.Obviously have never spent 10 cents on this upkeep. Beyond horrible.Was too late to go to Kettleman City.

This is a very old Lodge House and even has some of the old original furniture still placed in these rooms. Rooms are HUGE !! They even have a very large living room with a vanity, a office desk and lots of space surrounding. There is a small kitchen with stainless steel countertops & sink with a large storage closet next to it for food and drinks. Nicest part is there is a wall in the center of the room separating the bed & the livingroom. Also the toilet and shower are in it's own space separate from the sink so you don't ever have to smell your partner's/roommates stink bombs lol

Never in my life have I ever stayed in a motel like this. I was in avenal for the weekend so I could visit my husband at the ASP. I payed for 2 nights right away and regreted it as soon as i walked to the outside door of the motel room. What im about to write right now is 100% true. The door on the room was a house door knob with a plywood keeping it in place. The sheets had blood on them, dead roaches on the ground, no tv channels at all, no phone and no hot water. I went back to the front desk and requested a refund and she said " i give you 55 back". mind you not even 20 mins before that i handed her a $100 bill. After traveling 6 hrs, i didnt even want to argue with the lady so i took the $ and drove to kettleman city.
