Lodge At Eagle Rock

Great place to go for Montana Missouri river fishing. Nice lodge with nice views. Service top notch and very personalized. Rooms are average but not a big deal. Meals are above average but no choices for dinner except One entree that is planned for the evening. Open bar 24hours is very nice. Not much else to do there but eat, drink, fish, and relax. No town nearby but that is Montana. Fishing quality depends on time of year so do your homework. Would go again.

Fabulous place to go for fly fishing for brown and rainbow trout. On the Missouri River near Craig MT in a gorgeous stretch of trophy water. Excellent location, food and drink, rooms and staff. Bring your own gear or use gear provided by the Lodge or your guide. Fabulous guides. Downsides are that it’s pricey and can be full during prime times and the most productive fishing - at least in June - is done using indicators and nymphs (although some rising fish can be targeted using dry flies). There are excellent fly shops in nearby Craig MT.

Day 9 in Montana we said goodbye to the most wonderful fishing lodge adventure ever! The Lodge at Eagle Rock was simply amazing. The lodge itself is spacious & beautiful, the chefs - Jeff & Courtney - are 5-star. Every meal we had was of the highest quality and prepared perfectly. The people who work there in the lodge are absolute top notch. We can’t say enough great things about Laura, Shamra, Shaunna, Jill and everyone there who made sure that our stay was just perfect. We made some new friends, enjoyed amazing food & drinks and caught fish every day on the river. We both hope to come back again for this experience in the future.

What a place! The Lodge at Eagle Rock completely surpassed all of my expectations. I planned the trip for 4 of us, the 3 others had never been fly fishing and didn't know what to expect. Angie and Shaunna were extremely helpful in getting everything set up ahead of time. Upon arrival, we met the staff and they couldn't be nicer people. The food is amazing. The chef, Geoffrey, prepared incredible breakfasts and top of the line dinners. It is so much fun to sit in the Lodge bar after fishing and talk about the day with the other guests and their fishing guides and the staff. Laura serves up some amazing cocktails. The owner of the Lodge happened to be staying at the Lodge during our stay and we became fast friends. The Missouri River didn't disappoint. Everybody on our trip caug

This is my 3rd time to The Lodge at Eagle Rock and won't be my last. Angie, Laura, Geoffrey and Matt are wonderful hosts. They attend to our needs, are enjoyable to be around (actually they are one of the big reasons I keep coming back) and are key in making our trip enjoyable. You won't go hungry staying at the Lodge as Geoffrey's meals are incredible. Casey does a wonderful job of aligning us with really great guides. They are all wonderful, knowledgeable and enjoyable to be around. I look forward to this trip every year.
