Locomotive Inn

This hotel doesn't look special from the outside but it was one of the cleanest, most comfortable hotels I've stayed in. The staff was professional and helpful, the rooms were CLEAN, nothing was broken, the carpet looked brand new, the bed was so comfortable and the free breakfast next morning was a real bonus. It was self serve but there was actually biscuits and gravy and I swear the sausage gravy tasted home made! All in all it was a very good experience and I would highly recommend. Oh, and I could not believe that the cost of this hotel was only $108/nt. AMAZING.

Nice central location, close to a grocery store, several gas stations, and there a few food locations within walking distance. You even have access to a local fitness center.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. AC unit worked excellent. The staff was very friendly and knowledgable about all the events going on in town and helpful with recommendations of places to eat. They have done an excellent job of remodeling and updating the hotel and have still kept their rates reasonable compared to the other hotels in town. This is going to be our new place to stay when visiting Laurel!

For the price, this inn was fine. Compared to other places in its price range, the free breakfast was typical but better than some. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

It astounds me that people expect Hilton quality service from a small inexpensive hotel. The room was very clean, the breakfast had numerous choices (much better than typical continental breakfasts) and the hotel has charm.
