Customer Reviews
Lochloosa Harbor Resort is a fantastic place to spend the day or the weekend. The people here are so friendly. Ms. Terry is so precious. She's very knowledgeable about the lake and the fish. This location offers public access to the lake, bait store, diner, cabins, and RV lots. I'll definitely be going back.
Lochloosa Harbor Fish Camp is absolutely the best place to stay with your RV or stay in one of the cabins or Lodge! The owners and people at the bait store are super friendly! People like to come fish in the cooler months but you can catch Specks year round! All you have to do is ask the friendly store Clerk and they can point you in the right direction. Even if you don’t fish come relax!
Came to the fish camp yesterday for the first time in years. I was very sad to see that the place is in very bad condition. I cannot believe they even let the general public on the dock. Every step you take, you feel the whole thing shaking. Has not been repaired or replaced in over 20 years. All the boards are rotting and falling apart. It was a shame honestly. I was glad to see that they finally put some kind of metal great down so you didn’t rip your trailer apart coming out, but it’s still isn’t long enough because of the water being so low. It was very sketchy. I definitely will not be landing my boat there anytime soon. The tackle shop was still in good condition. They had plenty of minnows plenty of jigs. But I really wish they would invest a little money and fix that dock. There’s
For fishing, this is a great option on Lake Lochloosa, but prices have increased a good bit over the years if you plan to rent one of their cabins or "The Lodge". Don't expect anything great and I'd put it on par with staying at the Econo Lodge if you needed a hotel reference. It would be a good idea for the owners to splurge on a few things to make the stay more enjoyable, but I'd say the majority of people staying here only care about fishing, eating, and sleeping. The people that run the place are pretty friendly and addressed most of our concerns while staying there for a week. The Spec (Crappie) fishing was pretty good as well. You had a much better chance limiting out if you go real early though because once it starts to warm up the fishing turned off and you had to move around the l
Very quiet and calm atmosphere. The people staying there seemed mature and reserved. The employees in the onsite store were very nice and engaged in great conversation. Although they didn't have any size small or medium shirts😕 there store was nice. I will most Def. Visit again. Family friendly and peaceful!!
