Llama House ADK

My son and I were in the area for a long ski weekend. Dave and his pup, Wilson, were very easy going. Dave was easy to talk with and was able to provide lots of suggestions for the area, based on our interests. The home was cozy and a great space for socializing with Dave and his other guests. Would definitely stay again if we're back in the area.

The Llama House is a unique place to stay in upstate New York. Dave, the owner and host has done a great job creating a space conducive to socializing with other guests. The bedrooms and bathrooms are well appointed and guests have the run of the house including kitchen, sitting areas, TV room and deck. Wilson, Dave’s 4-legged co-host is chill and loves to keep guests company. There are lots of great outdoor activities such as white water rafting at Wild Waters Outdoor Center in Warrensburg, Lake George is close by as well.

Dave and his pup Wilson provided perfect accommodations for me and my son who were in town for a ski weekend. We enjoyed the record collection, projector & movie screen, and of course good coffee in the morning. GREAT location for ADK activities!

Llama House is the perfect place to say with friends and family or as a single person. Dave is extremely friendly and made wonderful suggestions on places to explore. The house is lovely and stocked with everything you need. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for a few days.

I had a great stay here! The accommodations are charming, clean and - at least for me driving to Vermont from WNY - conveniently located. There are also nice touches, like a record player, 100% cotton sheets and unique furniture. Dave was a wonderful host ready with recommendations for places to eat, hike or grab a beer. Overall, it's a great spot for relaxing on-site, or as a base for exploring nature and charming ADK towns. Would recommend!
