Little Mattie Campground

First time for us, took all 7 kids, quiet, peaceful, gorgeous. Caught three fish off the bank, did the roasting of marshmallows, had a full moon, time off of work very well spent and long time overdue, next time will be that much better!!!!

Very nice campground in a ravine near the shore of the Ruedi reservoir. Most sites are wooded, and some are quite spacious. Prices are high for a forest service campground, but parking at the nearby boat ramp is included. Scenery is excellent and night skies are dark. Only site #1 has direct access to the lake, or it would if the water was higher, however there is a small pull-out at the entrance to the campground with similar access. Vault toilets were clean. Potable water was not available at the time of my stay. All sites have bear boxes large enough to fit multiple coolers. Be warned: We encountered a bear in our site during our stay.

You got a beautiful atmosphere environment The people the place it's in the forest it's by the lake it's all great it's all cool if you like nature come on down

Beautiful well maintained and manicured campground. Bathrooms very clean!! Alot of sites have good shade. AJ the host is awesome!!

Great Campground off the beaten path. The water was not turned on when we got there, but there was water down at the dump station.
