Lindsey Place Suites

I stayed at Lindsey Place with my girlfriend for a getaway weekend with our pooches. It was dog-friendly and had a kitchen, which were two major pluses for us. The beds were extremely comfortable and the suite was clean and spacious. The back courtyard with the hot tub is nice; don't forget your swimming suit. The suites are associated with the Best Western a few blocks away, which is where we had to check in and pick up our keys. The continental breakfast and fitness center are complimentary and are both located at the Best Western. We can't wait to come back!

When you call you have to listen to a message that gives another number to call to book your room or answer any questions you have. This is not very convenient when your driving in a car with kids, pets and spouse trying to figure out what hotel will met everyone’s needs.

First tip, don't plug in the Walnut Street address on your GPS; you'll end up at the Best Western Lock Haven, PA. Yes, they manage the property but you will not find it that way. Second, you only get one parking slot. If you drive in with two, be prepared to park on the street and to move it routinely. Third, spotty housecleaning. Sometimes they show, other times not. They do not do dishes contrary to expectation. Refilling service items is poor. ||Nice part of town, you can walk to most shops or along the river walk. Good for pet owners. Fairly quiet but ask for the parking lot side if you are sensitive to noise. TV color was off and unable to be fixed; no microwave rotation ring, fridge on the floor (for your pet's easy access to a autonomous midnight snack). Hot tub is so chl

Stayed for a weekend in 1 bedroom suite for my sisters wedding. The location is nice, centrally located. The river walk is across the street. Pretty place for a walk. Our suite was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. Lots of closet space. The courtyard with the hot tub was a nice place to hang out. Hot tub was clean. Kitchenette (coffee maker, 2 burner stove, mini fridge/freezer, toaster oven plus pots/pans, service for 4) was well equipped to prepare meals. Coffee, sugar packets, salt/pepper, dish liquid, paper towels, foil, plastic wrap were provided. The few negatives were the odor of "wet dog" in our suite. Traveling from Ohio to the eastern part of PA and we wanted a different place to stop in the Whitehall Lock Haven area. Lindsey Place is a renovated older building along the river in Lock Haven. Although run by the Best Western it is totally different. Each unit is a suite with a kitchenette living and bedrooms. There is access to a patio with a hot tub and a few tables if you wish to relax outdoors. Convenient to stroll the levee along the Susquehanna river as a nice post diner exercise. Would stay there again.
