Customer Reviews
The park is nice enough but most of the sites are significantly out of level. We have not been able to get completely level even with our front high off the ground. One shower stall each for the entire campground. Preset push for water. Small gravel road winds quite a ways back to here.
Beautiful trails. Small waterfall. Road to get to the campground was difficult especially for people with larger rigs. Sites are tight and sloping down, making it difficult to get level. Bath house clean but only one shower for women and one shower for men for all the campers. Nowhere to sit while waiting to take your shower. swimming beach area at the lake was walkable. small county library on site with current books. helpful staff.
Couldn't justify a $300 a night hotel room so came and spent the night here. Happy that I did. Restrooms and shower were clean and well maintained. The staff were excellent! Thank you!
Yes it was clean. I felt like the spots were literally on top of each other. If your in a tent you can guarantee your neighbor can hear your conversation. I didn't enjoy spending the night like that. The area is very pretty but for $30 I wont camp there again. The porta potty wasn't clean and wasn't stocked. Their isn't a trail you can take to get to the lake. You walk the road or make your own. Our spot didn't have a picnic table and not sure if all the spots had one. Their was a fire pit but we couldn't use it. Fire restrictions. Their is a house close to the exit and their dogs barked most of the night. Seen a few deer. The lake was the best part.
Wow! This is a regional park, and it was awesome! We camped there for 3 days. And the campground is very nice, clean restrooms, hot showers in the grounds. Are clean and well kept. Several very nice trails for hiking, there's a beautiful lake for swimming kayaking, paddle boarding, a beautiful picnic area. And I saw at least one large shelter, with tables for a group gathering. Very nice!
