Leigh Creek Campground

Small campground ten sites. Shady except 10 an 11 get a little hot with little shade. But you have the creek to cool off in. Site 7, 8 are great tent sites. Very secluded. 4an 5 are walk in an along the creek. Great little park.

I'd been in several campgrounds and this is to stay close to Yellowstone east entrance. We stayed just a night leaving the park towards Devil's tower. The mountains around are very impressive, it was a very windy and hot night. First days of August.

Favorite campground I've ever stayed at. Was there with a group in mid July for one night on our way to Yellowstone and we all wished we could've had more time. So beautiful and peaceful. I'm anti gatekeeping but this campground makes me understand why people do.

I really loved camping here. Spacious sites, quiet and with the sound of the river, I might have slept the best I ever have on a camping trip. Very clean bathrooms, just the garbage was overflowing and didn't seem to be emptied regularly. Convenient to climbing and worth the splurge!

This was a dreamy campsite! Amazing location next to Leigh Creek and super convenient for getting to the crags or Ten Sleep. Beautiful big campsites, felt very private, friendly host and clean facilities. I loved that the host even installed a little nightlight into the restrooms. It's all those little details which make a forest service campground with a host that much better. 100% recommend and hope to be back here for a longer stay soon.
