Leander / NW Austin KOA Holiday

I am correcting this review because Leander contacted me. Mary explained the rate more thoroughly and said we were given a $9 dollar credit. I don't want to come across too negative; Bill and Mary are very polite. Regardless of the confusion, I know we would have been charged the higher rate had I not brought the envelope inside. That said, I was so grateful that they answered their phone after hours. If you're traveling in your RV and you need a place to stay at the last minute, you might resort to this KOA Site. We also noticed that the bathrooms were not locked; that surprised us.

Honestly there is nothing exciting about this location for $75 per night. The pool and hot tub were shut down for the season and they don’t have any pickleball courts or anything. And we stuck out very far into the middle of the pavement- in front of the office… which felt weird. If it was $55 off season then yes I would be recommending this place. Now compared to other places near Austin- I don’t know.

This Campground is perfect in every way and I would have given it a perfect 5 except for the reason I'll mention at the end. The site or Louisville paved and beautifully laid-out. It is very easy to get in and out of the campground. The amenities are as nice as any you could ask for. The pool is in a nice shaded location and kept very clean. The variety of cabins makes it ideal for any family weather camping in a motorhome, a camper, or staying in the cabins. The dog park is the largest I've ever seen and proved to be a lot of fun for my pets. The location provides easy access to and from all the sites around Austin while not being in the midst of the hectic City Life. The store is small but well-stocked. Was tired on 10/8/25 and needed a break in driving. Tent site was outrageously priced at $75!!!!! Website shows $65. I paid only $33 in Salina, KS KOA. I left and did NOT STAY. Sites were clean and very nice, well lit, hated to leave, but I could get a motel room for $110!
