Customer Reviews
We have stayed at these cabins three times and it’s amazing and well stocked every time!
Had occasion to travel to the White Mountains for an overnight stay August 1, and opted for the Lazy Trout cabins from the multitude of accommodation options on the web. We were not disappointed. The price was right, check in was seamless, and our cabin (#8) was immaculate and comfortable. The owners were most hospitable and friendly - and it was a bonus to have a well-stocked store onsite. If we get up that way again, will definitely look to book another stay.
Beautiful place. Very nice cabins. We stayed in Willow cabins which sleeps 4 adults and also had a motel room booked. Got 2 queen beds and 2 sofas in the cabin. Not very spacious rooms incase you are more in group. Motel room has a king size bed which is wide enough but not long enough for tall people. But still is very good with lovely vie and you surely will see some wild animals like the elks there.
We are absolutely loving it up here! The cabins are cozy and clean. The family who runs Lazy Trout are so kind and accommodating. And the scenery is breathtaking! We are in awe of this hidden little gem.
We had a great two bedroom cabin. It was really nice. Full kitchen. A lot of work if they would have had a washer dryer tho as they expected you to start the laundry for them too if you had one. Had to dry all the dishes and put them away before we left and check out is at 10 or they charge you an extra $25 hour that you are there without prior arrangements. Fireplace was great, really heated the place up so much they kept opening the door so half of me was toasty and the other half was cold lol. Snow all around the cabin and they had it numbered wrong on the paperwork so we kept driving around. We told them about the numbering problem and they said they'd fix it. Near the slopes and sledding area. Near snowmobiling area too. No real places to eat after 3 pm except an expensive place that
