The place was packed with tents as close as they could. That being said the noise was never a problem. Sometimes with so many people tempers can fly, but we never witnessed any confrontation. Overall good experience. Would absolutely return.

This place has officially became our yearly family vacation spot!🫶🏽 So grateful for this place, the views, the food, so many things to do, and the cabins are nice and were kept extremely cool!☺️ My family and I were just in awe the entire time. The people are friendly and welcoming! Thank you so much for letting us create forever memories with our son! The pool especially, like who gets to swim and look at the lake the same time?!? The restaurant had amazing drinks, food and service! Cannot wait to come back next year and bring more family! 😄

We stayed here for one night, and it was just what we needed. It was quiet (even on a Saturday night), and the bathrooms and showers were clean. Check-in was quick and easy. We also ate at the restaurant, and the service was fast with good.

We have taken our two grandchildren to Runaway for 4 years straight now. We ALL have a great time! Our cabin was 2 bedroom/2 bath, which is perfect for 4 of us with wet suits, showers, etc. The front porch is a good place for hanging suits, towels and floaties to dry. We bring most of our own groceries, but always eat breakfast at Sharkbite on Sunday and at least one other meal there, too. Their burgers and fries are great!! Everything is made from scratch--hand-cut fries! We always get a boat slip, so once the boat is in the water, we only have to walk a few hundred feet to be out on the water. They are in a cozy cove with boat gas, as well.||We fish off the docks--and always get enough for a meal--catfish mainly. We tube, ski, kneeboard, and swim in either the pool or the lake.||They hav
