Lazy Bee Log Cabin Rental

Secluded, well appointed and beautiful, inside and out, but still close to town and the convenience store. The owner was great to work with. Do bring your own linen and towels, but in this day and age, I actually prefer that! This is a wonderful get away and close to plenty of fishing. We saw plenty of birds and several deer. Overall great place to stay. We did not lack a thing! Thank you!

Beautiful cabin with lots of privacy as it’s set back in from the road. The air conditioning worked great even though it was just a wall unit (been to places before with a wall unit and were so let down). Cabin is clean with everything you’ll need for cooking. All appliances worked great! While it looks small from the pictures, this cabin was really spacious and the back room just added to this! The owner is super sweet and always gets back to you if you have questions or need information. We will definitely stay here again!!!

Me and my girlfriend were trying to find a cabin for my birthday. First off the owner is a good guy. He got us in his cabin on short notice. Let's just say me and my girlfriend had an spiritual experience and want to come back again for a longer period of time. I love the location of this cabin. No street lights in the county! It's truly an escape from the fake city life. I would live here if I could. Chuck i will be calling you to come out again soon. We even had wildlife come right up to the cabin it was amazing. It also happens to be right on the edge of a great clean park and a couple lakes not to mention the Des Moines river. I hope this place stays a hidden gem as that's what it is. Ralph and Shawna Mansker, Marion Iowa. August 12-14, 2016 We had and amazing spiritual retreat at this cabin. I highly recommend it to get away from the cities and road noise. It is located at the edge of keosauqua state park and it's remote location is perfect. The cabin is fully furnished and has all the necessary items to cook. Just bring your food and beverages to stock the fridge. A charcoal grill is also available. We will definitely reserve it in the future with plans to stay a week. We stayed 2 nights and didn't want to leave. Thank you Chuck , for renting this cabin out!
