This is a quaint, cozy place to stay when we're in town visiting family. Once professionally run, but our latest experience was less than desirable. This was strictly due to management/owner issues. We have never been treated with such lack of respect and courtesy, as we did on our last stay for 10 days this past September. Not only was our reservation incorrectly held (wrong room from the requested one), but the owner only wanted to argue her point about 'being right'. This should never, ever be the stand of a business owner and/or manager of any establishment. To top it off, we recently received a call from her regarding another reservation for the month of December, which we never made. She was adimant we made the reservation and only wanted to argue, once again, on the telephone. Needl

I am an OTR truck driver and my truck had a major breakdown which required an extended stay. I stayed at the Lawrence Manor motel portion. I must say that this visit had to be the most relaxing time I have ever had at a motel! The rooms are actually clean, with modern up to date appliances Ms. Donna the Owner is a gem, she does her best to make you feel at home. And Ms. Christina is also the nicest as can be. Thank you Ladies for making a problem that I was having not so bad. The area is quiet and food within walking distance. If in the area stop by you won’t regret it.

I will 100% stay here again! The owner and staff were all wicked nice. Obviously not the Ritz, but the room was perfect for me.

Watched the owner kick the neighbors cats I don’t think that’s very appropriate seeming how the cats were just walking around and not harming anything or anyone the owner is very rude and very judgmental I hope she realizes that animal cruelty is not ok.
