Laurel Island is one of my favorite places to be on earth. The minute I step off the boat and onto shore I feel an incredible sense of peace and calm. It has everything you could want - swimming, kayaks, canoes, fishing, hammocks, a field for games, ping pong, and so much more! And to top it all off, the hosts are wonderful!
A magical place for connection with friends and loved ones, nature, and peace. They provide so many options for leisure and recreation (paddle boards, swim docks and floats, kayaks, indoor and outdoor games, fire pit, etc). Each cabin is outfitted perfectly for a cozy stay and private enjoyment of the lake and wildlife. Highly recommend!
The island is a breath of fresh air. A wonderful place to unwind with family and friends. Offers community, privacy and nature. Will keep coming back!
Wonderful experience! There is no place better for a quiet getaway or group experice. The temperature of the lake is perfect, as are paddleboarding and kayaking.
Wonderful experience for our long weekend family reunion. The we're very accommodating. Lots to do.
