Nice camping spot to get away from civilization. The closest town is Armstrong Creek where there is an opportunity for fuel, food, and some incidentals. There are no electrical sites nor are there showers so make sure you bring your battery packs, solar chargers, and portable showers. The nights are quiet and some might say pitch black as thousands of stars are overhead. The campsite has three bodies of water; Gordon, Laura, and Bog lake. Gordon has a sand beach and boat landing. Laura has a boat landing, and Bog has a wooden bridge which allows one to launch a small boat in the bog. Other activities include a hike around Laura lake and 6 miles of biking. The biking trail is in essence a grass and leaf covered logging road. There are not many hills and the only challenge is the very sof
Awesome campground. Great hiking trails, clean outhouses, fresh water pump. Saw lots of wildlife. Sites are private enough, woodsy enough.
The rustic campground is beautiful. Other campers with generators marred the experience. Enjoyed hearing loons and the hike around the lake
This is a very tame Campground it's secluded yet kind of bare the campsites are right next to each other so there's not much privacy if it's packed. Be sure to bring a flashlight bug spray and wood. Most of the campsites can fit very very large campers... also have tents only spots. I think it's honestly a little pricey but it's well-maintained the outhouses are very clean for being out houses, also there is water and power so you can't go wrong I guess... There's an awesome hiking trail that hikes all the way around the lake it is quite the hike so be prepared water, bug spray.. tons of bug spray the halfway point there is a sign that brings you on a wooden bridge to the bog that you turn to the left and to the right there is a bench that you can sit by on the lake... The fishing is mostl
Not to crowded lots of room between sites nice trails
