Laughing Bear Log cabin

This place is GORGEOUS! It is exactly as the pictures described. The owners give concise information on how to get there (follow his directions!) and how to use the property. The ambiance is amazing. We were there in the summer and the house was a perfect temperature. Minutes away from Ski Bowl and Timberline Lodge. We spent a day at Trillium Lake which is breathtaking. Ski Bowl was fun with lots to do for the kids. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that the bathrooms are a little challenging. The shower is the size of a phone booth (if you know what those are ;) ) but the water is a good pressure and plenty hot! The toilets are definitely not designed for extra large people, and although we are not extra large and could manage we couldn't imagine how a very large person wou

2nd day of 4. Love it! Very rustic . Cooked chix over the fire pit outside for dinner last night . Slept so soundly . The stuffed bears tho got into our tequila & beer . Lol love the sound of the river. Very soothing . Highly recommend

Hidden in a quiet neighborhood in the woods is this lovely, cozy, genuine log cabin! If you're looking for an authentic cabin-living experience, this is a great place to stay. The furniture and design were antique, rustic, and entirely unique and felt dated to before the 1930s. It was like we had stepped back into time! 3 bedrooms offering at least 8 sleeping spaces, 1.5 baths, a cozy living room, a fully functional kitchen, and a hot tub in the backyard among the pine trees. Blackberry and raspberry bushes line the driveway. A short walk will take you to a nice creek with a trail behind the cabin. Road noise is kept to a minimum.
