Lantz Corners Getaway Lodging

Recently stayed here during a bicycle trip so I could position myself to visit Kinzua Bridge State Park. This place reminded me of homey, independent motels hotels I have stayed in in the west and Midwest. Very friendly people, nice room (The renovated bathroom was really nice, especially the large shower.), and relaxed atmosphere. The food at The Barrel House next door was also very good.

We are in the area every year for the Mt Jewett Swedish Festival and we stay here … Becky and her husband are the best hosts. My room was comparable to what I would expect at a high priced BNB .. the bathroom was recently renovated since last year and the room had new carpet and wainscoting … a microwave and a decent size mini fridge with freezer made it perfect … the bed was comfortable and the place was soooo clean .. Did I mention it is located next to the best restaurant with great food and reasonable prices .. hope we will be back next year …

I was on a ride from Buffalo, NY through Allegheny National Forest and on to Wellsboro on my dualsport motorcycle, so location was perfect! I arrived late and called the number on the sign at the office and was greeted by a friendly woman who checked me in. The room was clean and cheap. After a hot shower, I strolled over to the restaurant across the parking lot and enjoyed a terrific and inexpensive meal. Was on my way next moring after a great breakfast at the restaurant and gassed up at the truck stop next door. Everything met my needs and I will be staying there again this Summer. Nothing fancy, but I was more than satisfied with the service and the accomodations.

Bed was comfy, shower was great, and the owner treated us like family! She went above and beyond to make us comfortable! There were 7 of us, and we had been out riding all day! We wanted to kick back and have a few drinks and play cards. She set up a table turned on the big screen and left us alone. Was it the Ritz not at all but you can't buy hospitality like that!

On the outside the place looks a bit shabby and I actually thought twice about staying, but I’m glad I did. The room was comfortable , shower was clean, fridge and air conditioning accommodating and the location is convenient. Price is affordable and the staff were sweet and helpful.
