Lamplight Lane RV Resort at Glen Oaks

I was passing through MO on my way to NY from AZ. I didn’t have a reservation but I walked in to see about a spot. The hosts were the most kind and accommodating people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. The grounds were clean, water and electric hookups, and dog friendly! For making an impromptu stop, it was a wonderful experience. Highly recommend if you have a trailer or RV and excellent for anyone visiting their soldier graduating basic or AIT as it’s relatively close to Fort Leonard Wood.

My husband and I stayed at Lamplight Lane for about 5 months while he had some training at Fort Leonard Wood. We had a wonderful experience!! John & Barbara are such good people, and run a very respectable establishment. We are first-time RVers, and they were always very helpful when we had questions and such. They were very flexible with our check in & check out date & times as well, which was much appreciated. The grounds are tidy and quiet & I enjoyed many walks around the area :) Plus, it was an easy 10 minute drive to the west gate. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

We stayed at Lamplight Lane On a trip to see our son and his family. Also to wait for a new grandchild. Our dates were flexible as we did not know when Henry would be born. The owner was very nice and very flexible working with us on our stay. He never got annoyed at our rescheduling of our end date. We were very pleased how he handled our stay and we appreciate everything he did.

I wish there were more than 5 stars. We stayed here for my son's graduation from basic at Ft Leonard Wood and it was perfect. John was so incredibly friendly and gracious. He came out in the freezing cold to guide us into our space in the dark. Our son was unexpectedly given a few hours of leave after graduation and John allowed us to stay in the site until we had to take him back. I would highly recommend this RV park for anyone needing to stay in the area. Thanks so much for a great stay John!

Greatest RV Park in the Area. Mr. John goes above and beyond to help campers with anything and keeps areas in tip top condition. Please consider staying here if you need a great experience..
