We first stayed at Lambert's Cove Inn 25 years ago. The Inn has changed hands multiple times and expanded since then, but it's remained a quiet, low key and charming place. We stayed in the Morning Glory Farm room, which is located in one of the newer barn structures. The room is tastefully decorated and private and has beautiful views of the woods and the Inn's alpacas. Breakfast is nice too, with fruit, yogurt and some delicious homemade cakes and breads.||On the other hand, there are areas for improvement, and I don't think the other reviews are giving a complete picture of what guests can expect. Firstly, the staff was unprofessional and seemed indifferent to guests' needs. There was a distinct lack of hospitality that one would expect from a hotel of this price range. The room itself had several issues. The water pressure in the shower was almost nonexistent, and we had to wait over five minutes just to get warm water. This made it very difficult to enjoy a simple shower after a long day. Additionally, there was no coffee provided in the room. I booked this hotel for $900 for one night while traveling to Martha’s Vineyard for business. From start to finish, the experience was unacceptable.||The hotel contacted me the day before to confirm my arrival time. I told them I would be landing at 11 a.m., but was informed my room would not be ready until 2 p.m. I had an important event to attend by 3:15, so I had to get ready at a friend’s hotel.
