Lakewoods Resort

Our family spent five days at Lakewoods in July of 2020, and we can't wait to go back. Our adjoining cabins were clean and comfortable, and the double kitchens allowed for plenty of storage and room to prepare our own meals. Mike and Sarah were friendly and helpful. We felt welcomed and at ease right away. And Bull Shoals? The best water skiing anywhere! Our boat slip was easy to navigate, and we never experienced crowded conditions on the water. The only improvement to our trip would have been a longer stay.

After not being able to visit for a couple years, spending time at Lakewoods was like coming home again! Bull Shoals is our favorite lake: quiet, remote, peaceful, clear and pristine water, great boating and fun fishing. We’ve been staying at Lakewoods for the last 30 years. Been through several owners and they’ve all been great. Mike and Sarah have done a great job keeping the place ship shape. We love the cabins with a lake view. My days there start with coffee on the back deck enjoying the view, then a walk around the park just down the road. After breakfast, pack sandwiches and head out to the lake. Wonderful swimming, great water skiing and always fun to fish ( I’m not that great at catching!). The dock is very modern and keeps our boat dry during the occasional rain shower. The pool

We had a great time at Lakewoods Resort! We were able to keep two teenagers and 5 year old twins busy with swimming, fishing, boating, paddle boarding and exploring during our stay. The cabins are simple but super clean. Mike and Sarah were beyond helpful and accommodating. It made for a perfect family get away to relax and unplug. Not to mention, the lake was beautiful! We will definitely be returning next summer!

Very enjoyable. The owners are super friendly & accommodating. The rooms are pretty clean, not fancy. Its rustic. The lake is beautiful & clean. I wish they'd move the fishing cleaning sink to a place where people weren't swimming off the end of the dock. Kind of a turn off.

My family and I absolutely loved our stay at Lakewoods resort! They have all the essentials you need and yet are so remote that you get to just enjoy the beautiful Arkansas/Missouri area. Swimming in Bull Shoals lake was amazing, we spent a lot of time on the private dock. Taking the Peel Ferry is a really fun experience too (especially for the kiddos). The Hwy 125 Marina and Buck Creek Marina are super close and great to explore as well. The owners are wonderful hosts, and are always available if you need anything. The office set up is great with some extras you may want to buy or borrow. Overall great experience and we will definitely be back someday!
