Lakewood Lodge - Deer River, MN Resort

We stayed Fourth of July week, and it was an awesome experience! The personal service that we received from the hosts was amazing was amazing. If you needed anything, they would literally would run it down to you via golf cart! Because we struggled with cleaning fish cleaning ourselves they lined that up for us and got that done for us as well! These guys were the best and what a beautiful cabin. Yeah it was a great stay and what a beautiful lake setting can’t say enough about our stay …five stars! And they preserved the good all days of resorting going back in time of going up north to a resort but with all the Luxury of a modern, plush cabin and the best service I’ve ever had! Thanks Aimee! For over twenty years our family has enjoyed one summer week together at a MN resort. This year we stayed at Lakewood Lodge. It was wonderful! Our cabin was nicely updated, very clean, well equipped, and had a beautiful view of Sand Lake. The owners have built something very special here for guests to enjoy. If you’re looking to get away to reset or reconnect this is the place!

My little family came to LakeWood Lodge this past week ! Amy and Preston are such wonderful family oriented people treat customers like family ! I cant wait to come back to see you in May 2026 ! I want to thank you for the cabin in the woods ! I was able to have my peace & calm ! I am so relaxed ! The grandsons loved the fishing and the beach oh yeah who can forget the ice cream !!!

Aimee and Preston have created a haven at Lakewood Lodge. Beautiful property, comfy cabins, easy conversation, and a view to write home about! We absolutely loved our stay in this cabin during June 2023! Every year, we travel to meet family for a week, and this trip was definitely one of our best yet. The cabin was spacious, clean, and the perfect size for our group of 5 families. We had so much fun spending evenings on the lake, roasting s'mores around the fire pit, lounging on the swings, and watching the kids play and enjoy themselves on the playground and in the water. There was something for everyone: breathtaking views, a super fun playground, a water trampoline, kayaks, epic fishing trips (we caught some big fish!), and so much more! I especially loved how they offered dinner meals, kid-friendly activities, and our daily walks to the main lodge for ice cream. It really made the experience feel special! The communication wi
