Lakeview Inn, Lake St. Louis

Positive: "" Negative: Bathroom was super dirty. The smoke alarm was beeping all night. I finally had to take it off the wall and remove the battery.

The hotel is dirty, holes in the walls, and it's full of drugs addicts and poor service and staff.||Room service knocked and I wasn't dressed and told them I didn't need service at the moment, and the guy (Nick) said, "no trash?" I said oh yeah, hold on. Grabbed my trash and sheets and he was gone when I brought them so, I set them outside and waited till I seen Jim to let him know. When I did, he went off on me telling me that why he asked and that I can't leave it on the floor, and then he threw my trash on the floor at me and said, f*** it then." And walked away. I call the front desk and they said they would talk to him and then made me walk to the front desk to get my new sheets. UNREAL.

I was actually assaulted by the owner of this place after a small traffic on a lot. He came across the lot at me screaming and then he started physically bumping me and pushing me backwards. When I got my phone out, he grabbed my phone and threw it into the parking lot. Then he grabbed me by my arms and tried to throw me down onto the ground. Another bystander had to jump in and prevent this guy from doing anything else to me. I have filed paperwork with the LSL Police Department concerning the incident and will be giving them all the data from my dash cam recorder that I had going on in my car at the time. This place is one of the worst properties in the area and I don't even know why it's still open because the police get called there on a regular basis.

This was a quick overnight stay for me during travel. Folks, you get what you pay for. That said, and keeping that in consideration, you should NOT expect it to be anything like Holiday Inn, Mariot, Hyatt Regency, etc. There were no bed bugs by the way. For quick check-in, sleep, get up & check out it was well worth the $70. :-)

Update / to response of owner - this was a bar connected to the motel - what could you do ?? It was a bunch of drunk idiots fighting - I’ve heard nothing but bad things about that bar since I have told others about this - how they are still open is beyond me ! You would have many more customers without it I am beyond done with this place - all because of the bar that is connected to it - the amount of fights that broke out recently is disturbing ! I heard one dude yelling he was going to get his gun ! I also notice underage kids in there and with all that and the fights - you will get no sleep at this place and be scared all night
