Lakeside Resort

My wife and I stayed here several times this past year. We absolutely love it here ! While it may not be a five star hotel, it is clean and adequate. We come here to stay on the water all day in our boat and just having a place to shower and crash is perfect for us. You can't beat the price and it is very safe. The covered docks are in great shape and have power to recharge your batteries. As for the fishing, it can't be beat !!! Watts Barr lake is our favorite place to go and this place makes it possible for us to enjoy it multiple times a season. Hope to be coming back several times next year.

This place looks like it was probably really something 40 or 50 years ago, but is fairly run down at this point. However, if you're here to fish, you can't beat the convenience. The hotel is literally right on the water, and the covered dock slips you can't rent are an easy walk across the parking lot. The boat ramp has a nice steep grade and it was very easy to launch our boat. The room we stayed in was plenty big enough, was pretty clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again, just for the convenience. Espcially since we did pretty good fishing. (by the way, they do have a fishing cleaning station right on the water, which is very basic, but served the purpose)

Docks are decent and the area is pretty quite. Needs some love but has potential

One of the best places to get away and relax for a weekend getaway..Rooms are modest,, but clean..Family oriented atmosphere..Camping/RV spots, Boat slips and Boat launching available. Very convenient location on Watts Bar Lake..5 stars!!

I was only there over night to pick up Boy Scouts from near by Camp Buck Toms, but there was a family reunion going on and I thought this was a great location at a really great price. The water looked inviting. The rooms were old and out-dated but there was something special about it; like taking a trip back in time.||||I got in late; they just left the key for me in a secure location. Did you hear me say KEY? The next morning they had coffee ready for me. But come prepared if you stay longer because you will need to bring food (and drinks).
