Lakeside Resort Campground

The RV campgrounds here are wonderful. Family oriented, beautiful WV scenic beauty and friendly, helpful folks. It's been an absolute joy. 10/10. My issues have been with Google Maps trying to get my Prius down mountainsides fit for 4x4 only. So far picking a suggested route hasn't helped since as I'm traveling the route is adjusted and gets me off the one best way for me to get in/out of here. It's an adventure but I don't need the added stress. Be very careful and don't trust the Google lady. Ask the locals, they're wonderful folks.

Beautiful RV Resort with amazing views & great amenities, to include a swimming pool, playground, basketball, pavilion, laundry & bathhouse facilities, etc. Wildlife everywhere, level sites, and great location. The largest inflatable playground I have ever seen, along with 3 boat ramps & marina's all within 1-2 miles of the resort!!! Also there is a great restaurant overlooking the lake that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner within 2 miles!!! What more could a person ask for?? BUT WAIT- BONUS- The owners are super kind and focused on customer satisfaction.

My family and I went here while visiting my cousin and this campground was really nice! Super clean bathrooms and shower house, nice playground and big swimming pool, spacious campsites. Everyone including the owners were so friendly! Dwaine the owner gave my cousin a ride to and from the office from the campsite to sign in and he even remembered my kid's names! It's also super close to Tygart Lake and lots of wildlife, we had deer coming up right to our campsite. We would definitely stay again when we come back!

Great people. Very clean, safe, quiet, and nice pool!

Nice place to have campers for the summer. Many of them also own boats on the lake. Nice size swimming pool. No life guard, families are responsible for their own children swimming.
