Lakeside Lodge And Marina

We come every year and get our bang for our buck. You can even rent a boat to take out on the lake. Food near by is excellent also. The rooms do need updated, especially the bathrooms but you can't beat the price and location!

We stayed at Lakeside Motel & Cabins March 2017 and have booked to stay again in March 2018. This is a older style motel but the rooms were clean and comfortable. Most of the beds are double beds and we ended up paying extra to get the adjoining room beside use. The one bathroom (shower only) was very small so paying extra for a full-size tub/shower and kitchenette was worth it. The view from the back is lovely and they connected us with someone to take us ice fishing. It was great! They supplied all the equipment and we caught 5 pike. The owners are very nice and treat you like family and live on site so are accessible for any issues. The cabins look nice but are not available during the winter months. Another plus is they allow pets.

What else to say then wow !! By luck with no reservation on the 9th of August we stayed there for 1 night . The set-up, service , marina ,cabin and the little restaurant and bar restaurant next door was great 👍!! The price was more then fair and will definitely go back when I will go back to area .

While this is definitely more 'motel' than 'hotel', it's clean and quiet, and in a great location right at the top of the lake. The views are great, and the people who work here are really wonderful! We had good homemade breakfast sandwichs in the cafe, with the bonus of 25% off for end-of-season! The room we had with 2 double beds was definitely tight for space, and the shower is very small, but for a place originally built in the 1950's, it's in great shape. And a bonus is potentially getting to see Travis Mills, a true American hero (look him up). Right next door is the Wild Duck Inn, so you have a restaurant (a good one) within walking distance. We had a great stay.

We had 10 people scattered over 2 rooms in the hotel and 3 cabins. We also rented a pontoon boat for the week. Everyone enjoyed their accommodations, their time on and in the lake, grilling and sitting by the fire pit in the evening. The staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. We all had a great time. The cafe and store within the location were a handy addition since our last visit. The brew pub next door had great food and drinks and is just a 3 minute walk from anywhere on the property.
