Lakeside Campground

Camped here while coming back home from Denver. We got a tent walk-in spot but there is a place to park super close so you barely have to walk. The tent spots are very nice, each have a fireplace and table. They are also right next to the lake so it feels like you’re camping at the beach. The restrooms are mostly clean, rly nice compared to most. Some people were lighting fireworks at night but other than that we had a great time. 10/10 would camp here again

The beach swim area is beautiful. My almost 2yr old enjoyed the water and playing in the sand. The campsites are very accessible and kept clean. The shower house was only 50c for 3 mins, be sure too wear shower shoes to avoid slipping the floors could use some rubber mats. We will definetly be returning to this beautiful lake. 😍

Nicely spaced electric sites, with water stations at intervals. Dump and trash bins near the entrance. We camped before Memorial day and it was quiet, not many speed boats. But the goatheads are plentiful.

The place was very beautiful and the water was actually very warm and fun. If you choose a spot next to the stairs to the water, know people will be at the stairs often. I would also wear mosquito repellent at all times, it is near water after all. Overall, would 100% come back.

Huge campsites, clean bathrooms/showers, fire pits, picnic tables, easy access to the lake, dog-friendly, and dump station/water refill available on the way in and out. Fantastic place - we'll be back for sure!
