Lakeside Cabins and Motel

This place should be your very last choice, matter of fact…it shouldn’t even be a choice. Bedbugs were infested in the bed. The bathroom is extremely small (watch out if you’re claustrophobic). Staff are pretty good, they immediately gave us some of our money back when we left. We left after one night. Bugs were found as soon as we walked inside, dead and kept there. Never again.

I came across this gem in a time of need here recently. Even in a time of renovation this location thrives and keeps a clean open appearance. Updates to the rooms are rustic in style and beautiful. The manager paints all of the artwork you see herself and tends to the rooms along side of running day to day business. The owner must cherish this place because it is on its way to being a must for the classic lake life lover.

Staff friendly ‘ that’s it . First room she showed us smelled like smoke ,Tiny house we rented the bed sheets smelled like they haven’t been washed in months!!! Cob webs in every corner , we didn’t turn on light in bathroom just peeped in got our stuff there and ceiling was full of mold shower was disgusting tile on floor was nasty underneath sink was a hole shelf was broke! Staff member said owner doesn’t pay to keep clean so I had to clean it ! We fished by the lake and came back the house smelled so bad we just left I threw the nasty smelly disgusting sheets and comforter in the corner !! The mattres on the bed had stains all over just nasty !!!!!!! I should have took pictures but just go see for yourselves!!!! We will NEVER STAY HERE EVER AGAIN!!!!!!

Excellent. The staff are very accommodating and they're clean and courteous. The cabins are spotless upon arrival. Everyone is polite and the location is perfect for a weekend or extended vacation. Boat dock is easily accessible and there's a gas station right across the street. Very convenient. 5 stars all day..

We decided on this place after wanting to have a small one night getaway. We were placed in the “Tiny House”. It was a little farther from the lake than we had liked but it was alright with us. We entered the house and I found 2 cockroaches and one spider during my stay dead and left on the floor. The floor was so dirty that it disgusted me to walk barefoot on it. I was constantly getting bit the entire night by what I can only guess were bed bugs. I didn’t sleep at all. To top it all off they were working on cars or doing something extremely loud in the garage across from the office at 1am. How can anyone sleep with that going on? The manager was very nice but the place is not clean. I will not be returning.
